Bio

Oscar Trelles is the founder of Breathing Flame, creator of the Reverse Aging Challenge, and author of The Human OS Manual.

His work sits at the intersection of systems thinking, human performance, healthspan, leadership, and environment design. Before focusing on physiology, recovery, and healthspan, Oscar spent more than two decades studying how people behave inside systems built for attention, performance, trust, and change.

In advertising and strategy, he studied markets, culture, communications, and decision-making. In market research, that work became more formal through methods, evidence, pattern recognition, and commercial interpretation. In technology, cybersecurity, startups, and commercial leadership, he saw how systems, incentives, and operating conditions shape what people adopt, resist, comply with, and become.

After experiencing severe burnout, Oscar spent fifteen years rebuilding his health, resilience, and operating rhythm from the ground up. That process did not mark a departure into wellness. It moved the same research orientation closer to the human operating system itself: physiology, state, recovery, behavior, adaptation, environment, and healthspan.

His current work develops the Human OS across healthspan, leadership, work, environments, and the systems people build around themselves.

Why the book exists

The Human OS Manual grew from a repeated pattern: people were trying to solve connected problems in isolated pieces.

Sleep was treated as one problem, stress as another, productivity as another, health as another, and aging as something that would happen later. The Human OS provides the operating logic underneath them.

The book is not a wellness program or a performance framework for a narrow professional audience. It is a systems manual for people who want to live in a way their biology understands.
