What the evidence supports

An umbrella review of wrist-worn wearable interventions found the clearest benefits for physical activity, while evidence for many downstream health outcomes was more limited or inconsistent. Clinical case reports have described preoccupation with consumer sleep-tracker metrics, while later research in people with insomnia did not find that wearing a tracker necessarily worsened sleep-related worry.

What it does not establish
